Hostel
The college has separate hostels for boys and girls, located near the college campus.
To ensure a secure and congenial atmosphere, the hostels adopt strict and transparent residential strategies. The hostel provides safety measures to all students. The comfortable ambrience provides a healthy atmosphere and an easy lifestyle with an environment to study
Rules and Regulations
Students are admitted to the hostel for a period from the date of admission to the last working day of the academic year, and hostel rent is to be paid for the whole year in advance.
Students leaving the hostel before completion of the given period will forfeit the fees and deposited amount.
A student will have to stay in the room allotted to him with two or more inmates.
Inmates of the room are jointly responsible for furniture and fittings in the room and the cost of any damage will be recovered from them.
The dining halls are run by the hostel mess incharge keeping the needs of the students in mind.
Students are required to join the hostel only after confirming that the facilities available are suitable to them. After joining, no complaint or request will be entertained.
Students are not permitted to use electrical appliances such as tape-recorders, heater, iron etc., in the hostel.
Guests or outsiders are strictly prohibited from entering the hostel without prior permission of the warden in-charge.
Any student who desires to stay outside the hostel overnight should obtain prior permission from the warden.
Student willing to move out of the hostel should carry his out pass.
Students should maintain silence in the hostel during the study hours as prescribed and after 9.00 pm
Students are warned not to bring valuables to the hostel. The Institution is not responsible in any case of theft or damage.
Ragging is strictly prohibited within or outsite the Hostel Campus. If any student is found doing so, he/she will be expelled immediately from the Hostel and College.
Heavy fine can also be imposed on the defaulters.
Library
The college has a well-equipped library
with books, periodicals and journals that are of outmost
value for the students taking up any of the courses offered
by the college.
A large variety of updated books on the latest technologies & research
are available to the students
The library is open on all working days from 9.30 am to 5 pm and from 9.40 am to 1.00 pm on Saturdays. The issue counter closes at 2.00 pm on week days.
Absolute silence must be maintained in the library
On entering the library, the students should place all personal belongings on the racks assigned for the purpose at the entrance.
If a book issued to the student is lost or damaged, the student shall replace the book or pay the cost within 7 days.
Loss of a library card should be immediately be reported to the Librarian in writing. Fine will be charged towards the cost of another.
Violation of library rules will be dealt with strictly .
All students should return the library card at the end of the year and obtain a "No due Certificate" from the Librarian.
Students are advised to keep their identity cards and library cards safe. The owner of the card is responsible for book issued against his/her name.
It is mandatory to return the library book in time. In case the library book is lost the student either has to replace the old book or shall have to pay the existing cost of the book.
Transport
The College has bus from different parts of the City. All students in their interests, are expected to travel in the college bus.
