Late Shri Vidya Sagar Dewan was an industrialist and philanthropist. He established many prestigious schools and colleges to provide quality education to the society. The Dewan Public School at Meerut, with more than seven thousand students, successfully boasts of hundred percent result year after year. Later on, two more branches of Dewan school were established one at Meerut and another at Hapur.

The establishment of Dewan – The Base, for the young kids, to expresses his love for education. He carved a name as the most successful business entrepreneur of the region. His remarkable success was the result of his adventurous spirit, patience, foresight and unshakeable self-confidence.

An industrialist, educationist and philanthropist. It is his Vision that we cherish

DIMS was his first venture into higher education. Established in 1996 with 60 students, there are over 1500 students at present studying various courses like MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, B.Ed, LAW. The foundation has established four other colleges / Institutes offering B.Tech., PGDM, PGDMM courses. This Year it has introduced Dewan V.S. Institute of Hotel Management & Technology.
