Dewan V.S. Group of Institutions has an active and efficient placement cell headed by a professional, with more than 40 years of corporate experience with MNCs of repute. The cell comprises of a group selected faculty and dynamic students working under the guidance of the placement cell. The placement cell makes a dedicated attempt to find gainful employment for its students in reputed organizations. Our placement cell is working, towards the ultimate goal of the students employment is in the industry. Our placement cell identifies and maintains the database of companies and organizes guest lectures, seminars, Industry visits and campus interviews.

Personality Development Workshop

The cell organizers activities and workshops that enable students to be team leader and team players. They are required to participate in mock interview and personality development workshops. At the end of each session, the members of the cell give constructive feedback to the students and monitor the growth and development of each student. Regular workshop for personality development are conducted by eminent professional and faculty members.

Industrial Visit

In addition, the placement cell organizes industrial visits for the students . All these activities tremendously enhance the professional ability of the students and enable them to acquire jobs with the best employers in the professional world. The students gain trem expresure and a practical knowledge through their activities.

Guest Lectures

Periodic guest lectures are organized as a part of the academic activities to acquaint the student with the modern and relevant concepts of corporate sector. The distinguished guests who have visiting our institute are the variable “who’s-who” of the industry in India.

Summer Placement

The education of the budding manager in incomplete without exposure of real working environment. The summer project gives an opportunity to students to test out the theoretical concepts learnt in the classrooms by working in real organization. This also helps the students to explore career opportunity in the area of their interest and develop a realistic managerial perspective about the organization in their totality.

All students are required to undergo a 6-8 weeks’ summer training, after the completion of the first two semesters, in industrial and business organizations anywhere in the country . The institute prefers that an organizations anywhere in the country . The institute prefers that an organizations put its students on a specific project which can be finished in 6-8 weeks. Alternatively, they may be placed in a particular department where they can gain knowledge of working of all aspects of department.

Placement Schedule

The permanent placement programme begin in December and ends in May. The process consists of mailing the Placement Brochure containing brief bio–data of the students with their photographs and area of specialization to leading organizations. Prospective employers send their relevant job details such as job description and responsibility, desired qualifications/experience place of appointment, compensation package etc.

Organizations schedule their recruitment during this time in coordination with the placement cell of the institute. Organization package, scope of growth etc. Placement cell renders all possible services to the organizations for smooth conduct of the selections and recruitments activities i.e. pre placement talls, written tests, group discussions and interviews.
